Lane's End Decorative Arts

Lane's End Decorative Arts is my dream.  I have been creating  Murals and Decorative Finishes for more then 15 years, and been painting on canvas for many more, but could not come up with a name for myself!  When my husband and I moved to our current address,  with my own Art Studio, on a dead end street, surrounded by trees it finally came to me......Lanes  End, and here I am!

I am known to many  clients and Interior Designers by my name, Pat McWhorter.  As I said,  I have been painting for a long time.  I paint Murals,  furniture,  and many decorative finishes.   I also paint Acrylics on Canvas, Portraits of Pet's , Homes,  Businesses and People!   I invite you to look at some of my work on this site, and hopefully you will see something you like!

This is the door to my Studio, originally painted to decorate a room in a Designer Showhouse, it now hangs in my own home.  I was lucky to have been invited to help an Interior Designer, Jan Middleton, of The Artful Eye Interior Design Resources, frottage the walls and paint these trompe l'oeil panels.
The Door panel covered the closet door and this "faux" bay window was used above the door to the room.
